The Estate at Florentine Gardens Wedding Photos by Jessica Lee Photo
Michele and I met at Sparta Station Athletics, a random pairing (she’s way better – and stronger (!!) – then I am), we were teamed up to do the partner WOD that early Saturday morning. All I remember were the thrusters. So. Many. Thrusters. It was all I can do to keep up! I loved her drive and support – she wouldn’t let me quit. We became fast friends and I met Vic shortly after. When they chose me to be their wedding photographer, I was beyond THRILLED! I can honestly say, nothing brings me more joy on a wedding day than our friendship and the intimacy that it affords to capture their love well. I’m not just a photographer in their face all day with a camera (although, I am) but the friend documenting their day.
While I spent the morning with Michele, my second photographer attended to Vic.
The entire day was hosted at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale NJ, and first began with a unique first look. Victor saw Michele for the first time as she walked towards him, recreating the ceremonial walk. Their first impressions say it all..
We got so many great images on the grounds of the Estate.
Michele and Victor’s wedding was stunningly chic! From the beautiful Martina Liana bridal gown that Michele wore to be married in, to the Stephen Yearick gown she wore to celebrate in. Victor, and his groomsmen, were equally stylish in their suits from Men’s Wearhouse. I especially loved the floor length, matching navy Adrianna Papell bridesmaid gowns. This dress could definitely be worn again and again!
A mix of ivory and blush roses, designed by Adam Leffel Productions, made stunning bridal bouquets!
After portraits, we captured the vows of Michele and Victor at the veranda.
Even though they decided to have a first look, it didn’t diminish the overwhelming joy that meeting at the alter brings. Vic couldn’t hold back as he watched Michele walk towards him for a second time that morning.
My favorite take-away from the entire day, during the ceremony, Victor couldn’t stop sneaking a peak at his beautiful bride.
Their love for each other.. what movies are made of!
Sneaking another peak!
Adam Leffel Productions crafted such a beautiful floral display for the entire event. I especially loved walking into the ballroom, the smell of all those roses and hydrangeas was divine!
To complete the incredible decor, was the cake, created by Palermo’s Bakery.
I was glad to steal these guys away for some more portraits highlighting Michele’s reception dress, by Stephen Yearick .
The Estate at Florentine Gardens and Sal Travis Entertainment, their in-house entertainment service, host a spectacular event! The band kept people on the dance floor the entire time and the cinematography team assembled a short highlight clip to show at the end of their day!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Victor Russinko!
